ABOUT ME
Marcelo Faccio is a recognized Argentinian illustrator, visual artist and writer.
He produces high-quality paintings applying techniques such as Indian ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, analog collage and other diverse methods. He specializes in children’s books and editorial illustration.
He lived in Europe for ten years and developed a successful career in Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris.
Drawn by his cultural roots he decided to return to Buenos Aires to continue his artistic journey and exhibiting his art in different galleries such as Chez Vautier, Expotrastiendas, Arteba, Fase 3, Recoleta Cultural Center, Banco Ciudad, Gallery Nights and the Raíces Americanas Gallery in Argentina.
He has been recipient of the Ñ award from the Clarin newspaper in Argentina.
He has worked for differents publishers in Europe as a children's illustrator.
At present Marcelo lives between Argentina and USA where he continues developing his art.
